Shocking

From Washington Times:

In another part of the letter, Mr. Ruwaldt confirmed, “It is conceivable to envision a use to improve air security, on passenger planes.”

Would every paying airline passenger flying on a commercial airplane be mandated to wear one of these devices? I cringe at the thought. Not only could it be used as a physical restraining device, but also as a method of interrogation, according to the same aforementioned letter from Mr. Ruwaldt.

Would you let them put one of those on your wrist? Would you allow the airline employees, which would be mandated by the government, to place such a bracelet on any member of your family?

Why are tax dollars being spent on something like this? Is this a police state or is it America?

Surely, that must be a rhetorical question.

I have said it before: 9/11, as horrible as it was, was a wet dream for the controllers, because they knew what they would be able to get away with in the name of “security.” And now the DHS is seriously contemplating putting a combination tracking/shocking bracelet on anyone who flies.

That anyone can even imagine forcing paying airline customers to wear shock bracelets is an unspeakable atrocity. How many will simply refuse to fly? How many airlines will cease to operate due to lack of customers? How many of their customers will die because a panicky drone pushed the shock button? How many of those drones will simply get away with it because they were only following orders? How long before they require all rental automobile customers to wear the same? And from there, it will be any form of public transportation, and eventually…

Someday they will go too far, and even the sheep will become recalcitrant. But will it be too late?
